Trade Items #2  Starting off with One Yellow Barrel

My name is Mark Kilcoyne and I am making a series of trade-ups to eventually sell the final item in support of BGMC - Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge.  You can learn about BGMC through out this website.

The goal is to trade our yellow Buddy Barrel for an item that has a trade-up value of more than the barrel.   Then we will continue to trade the barrel until Thanksgiving of this year.   After Thanksgiving we will sell our final item and give the proceeds to missions and missionaries through BGMC the children's missions agency of the Assemblies of God.

I began this site after watching a TV program that told about the success of oneredpaperclip.com.   In that site the owner started with a red paper clip and traded it up until he had achieved his goal of trading for a home.  He eventually did just that.  He realized his goal of owning a home.   After seeing this I had an inspiration to help raise some money for BGMC through such an effort. After watching that program during Thanksgiving of 2008 I decided this was the perfect opportunity to make an impact for world missions.

In the right side of this website you can view each new item as it is traded up.    Basically we will trade anything as long as it fits within our mission.  We will not trade anything we deem to be immoral or questionable.

Where do we want to go with this?   We don't know where we will end up by Thanksgiving of this year.   We hope to use this site to keep our churches in the Wisconsin/Northern Michigan District excited about missions.  The goal of the site is educational Because our goal is to further missions.  We are asking that those with whom we trade either pay for shipping or make arrangements with us for a pick-up.  Each traded item will either be traded at a designated trade site or we will ship the trade items.
